Thanks to our friends at Newton Nurseries, a variety of trees have been provided to Historic Houston to help us raise the money necessary to repair damages to our warehouse at 1214 Joe Annie and recover from the loss of our inventory of reclaimed flooring. Historic Houston's Holiday Tree Fundraiser will also count towards Mayor White's initiative to plant 1 Million new trees in Houston.

Our facilities sustained extensive damages during Hurricane Ike. The preparation expenses combined with the ever increasing repair costs have become overwhelming. Any donations to help aid in the road to recovery would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!



Salvage Program Tool Drive


As a non-profit organization, we frequently run low on supplies. We are asking for donations of new or gently used tools, warehouse supplies, as well as financial support that can be used towards the purchase of equipment that is vital to sustaining our Salvage Program. The next time you visit the grocery store or clean out your garage, please consider a donation to Historic Houston.

Come check out the Catherine Cage Bruns Resource Center located in the Historic Houston offices. The resource center is also accepting donations of architectural books, magazines, photographs, neighborhood histories and "green" resources. Monetary donations are also encouraged to help Historic Houston build the resource center and further serve our community.
